Brezark

Brezark was a Force-sensitive Quarren male who served as a mercenary and master trapper during the High Republic Era.

Biography

At some point, he wiped out the royal family of Burundang. Eventually, Brezark was recruited into the Nihil marauder organization by Marchion Ro—the Eye of the Nihil—and was spared from the experiments of the Nihil scientist Baron Boolan by Ro.^[2]

In 228 BBY,^[1] Brezark and a group of Nihil were aboard a Nihil satellite with a kidnapped Twi'lek family in order to lure a Jedi onto the station to be killed by the Great Leveler, a Force-consuming Nameless creature. When one arrived, the Quarren learned the Jedi was in fact Grand Master Yoda, and attempted to kill Yoda with toxic Slythiant solvent, but failed. Despite, the Grand Master's desire to save Brezark, the Quarren was killed by the effects of the Great Leveler, being turned into dust.^[2]

Powers and abilities

Brezark was an experienced mercenary specialized in traps and capable of using firearms. He was also Force-sensitive and was capable of using Telekinesis.^[2]

Brezark appeared in The High Republic: The Edge of Balance: Premonition, a volume of the manga series Star Wars: The High Republic: The Edge of Balance. The volume was written by Daniel José Older and published by Viz Media as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's^[2] Phase III on April 8, 2025.^[3]
