"I lost contact with the smuggler sometime after they entered Puke territory. Send a search party to recover the package. We can't risk this information getting into the wrong hands."
―Brekk Grondo's message to members of the Hutt Cartel[1]

Brekk Grondo was an individual who became a member of the Hutt Cartel on the planet Akiva by[1] 3 ABY. By the same year,[2] Grondo had lost contact with a smuggler after they entered the Pyke Syndicate territory on Akiva while traveling on a Bala-bala speeder. After learning that the speeder had crashed they wrote a report to other members of the Hutt Cartel urging it's members to form a search party and recovering the information the smuggler was carrying before it fell into the wrong hands.[1]

In 3 ABY, the thief Kay Vess found a datapad in the Hutt Cartel District in the capital city Myrra which contained Grondo's message about the Bala-bala crash. Vess later retrieved the intel and returned it to the Hutt Cartel.[1]

Behind the scenes

Brekk Grondo was mentioned in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game, Star Wars Outlaws. They were mentioned on a datapad as part of an optional intel quest. Returning the information to Hutts is one way the player can increase their reputation with the syndicate.[1]
