Bravo Squadron was a Grand Army of the Republic squadron that served in the Clone Wars under the command of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker. Separatist Alliance General Whorm Loathsom, who was increasingly frustrated by the strong Galactic Republic resistance during the Battle of Christophsis, set up a deflector shield in anticipation for his next attack, and sent his army in two groups. One group attacked Chaleydonia from the south while another group attacked from the east. High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi managed to repel droid forces from the south, but Skywalker's Bravo Squadron were unable to stop the Separatist advance.[1]
Behind the scenes
Bravo Squadron was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the 2022 De Agostini Star Wars Encyclopedia magazine "The Separatists."[1] Bravo Squadron was previously introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity as Bravo Squad, which was mentioned in the Nintendo DS version of the video game Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes. The game launched on October 9, 2009.[2]
