Bran was a human who worked as an intern for the company De'Rruyet Industries during the Galactic Civil War.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] Bran and another intern was just outside of the De'Rruyet Center on the[1] planet[3] Midarr. The pair were tasked with getting the owner of the company, Beol De'Rruyet, his caf delivery. As the two returned from a cafe with the caf at hand, the other intern complained about their current position and how the shifts were going to be awful.

Unbeknownst to the intern, Bran was taken down by the archaeologist Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra, and before the other intern realized, they were also taken out by the smuggler Sana Starros. Starros and Aphra then took their clothes and disguised themselves to enter the facility, pretending to be Bran and the other intern. Bran had red hair and fair skin. They wore a brown uniform vest with a white top underneath, a pair of gray boots, a pair of tan pants, and a black belt.[1]
