Braised Bantha Beef Short Rib was an entrée centered around the meat of a bantha.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] the dish was served in the entrée course of the Taste of the Galaxy dinner in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room on the MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser Halcyon. The dish, which was served with a small vessel containing a demi-glace to pour on the meat, was safe for humans to consume.[1]

Braised Bantha Beef Short Rib was a dish available in the real world at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel in Walt Disney World Resort, Florida,[1] which opened to the public on March 1, 2022.[3] The dish was last served at the hotel during the September 28–30 voyage of 2023, the final voyage before the closure of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.[4] The meal, which was served at the night two dinner of the voyage, was described as being served "with Rich Fig Fruit Demi-glace, Tuber-Turmeric Purée, Nightshade Flora."[5]
