The Bowane nebula was a nebula that was situated near the Isis system, a star system located in the Fand sector[3] of the Outer Rim Territories.[1]

Behind the scenes

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, indicated in June 2015 that the Bowane nebula and the Fand sector were excluded from The Essential Atlas Online Companion because later sources placed the planet Isis in the Anoat sector of the Greater Javin.[4]
