Bothan Spynet intelligence operation

During the Galactic Civil War, the Bothan Spynet undertook an intelligence operation on behalf of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. During the course of the mission, a massive loss of life occurred, including many Bothans, but the spynet learned that the Galactic Empire was constructing a second Death Star at the moon Endor in the Moddell sector.^[1] The Bothans also managed to secure footage from Endor of the Death Star II's construction, which less than a week after the operation, was shown to Alliance High Command and the Alliance's top admirals and generals at a meeting on Zastiga.^[2]
