Borgan was a male Whiphid security officer who lived during the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, he applied for a Security Director position at an illegal lab on Corellia,[1] a lab specialized in bio-engineering creatures through dangerous genetic experiments.[2] In 1 ABY,[3] Borgan hired a spacer to take vengeance by attacking the lab and highlight the incompetence of the actual security.[1][4]

Behind the scenes

Borgan appeared as a non-player character in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[5] Borgan was added to the game with the release of the "Publish 28," on April 26, 2006.[6]

Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
