Booton Piton was a short[2] Human[1] female[2] with light skin. During a night[1] in 22 BBY,[3] Piton walked in the Uscru Entertainment District of the planet[4] Coruscant and turned around to watch the bounty hunter Zam Wesell's[1] Koro-2 all-environment exodrive airspeeder[5] descend through the air. When the speeder crashed, Piton, with the[1] Rodian Nardi Shodu,[6] approached the crash site.[1]
Shortly after,[1] Piton traveled on an errand to the[2] Outlander Club, a nightclub and gambling hall[7] in the district with Shodu.[2] They entered the club arm in arm just in front of the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, who were there to capture Wesell.[1] Shodu and Piton then walked behind a[1] turbolift[4] in the club. During the visit,[1] Piton wore a form-fitting hunters cap[2] and a gray coat.[1]
Behind the scenes
Booton Piton first appeared in prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones and in its video game adaptation.[1][8] Both released on May 16, 2002.[9][10] The Outlander Club scenes including Piton, who was portrayed by an uncredited extra, were shot at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000.[11] The extra playing Piton had to guide around the masked extra playing Shodu.[2] Prior to the film's release, Dokes was first pictured in the documentary "A Twinkle Beyond Pluto,"[12] released on July 31, 2001.[13] Piton was first identified in the 2003 web article "Cantina Roll-Call: Shedding Light on Some Alien Aliases."[14]
