Boontaspice was a type of seasoning used in cooking. It used in dishes served in The Broken Hoof, a sports bar in the South Stretch Worker's District of Canto Bight.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] Kay Vess tried to get a free meal from the bar's cook by suggesting that it smelled a little to heavy on the Boontaspice and offering to taste it for them. The cook rejected Vess's offer telling her to freeload somewhere else.[1]

Behind the scenes

Boontaspice first appeared in the canon continuity in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[1]

Boontaspice was originally introduced in Star Wars Legends continuity in the 1996 novel Shadows of the Empire, written by Steve Perry.[3]
