Bonagal was a planet in the Outer Rim Territories' Mandalore sector. Located within the Mandalore system, Bonagal occupied the seventh orbit around the system's star, Mandalore, between the orbits of Mandallia and Shukut. A gas giant, Bonagal was surrounded by thirty-four moons.[1]
After the Taung forces of Mandalore the First journeyed from Roon to conquer the uninhabited planet that became Mandalore,[1] the newly renamed Mandalorians spread out to conquer the worlds of the surrounding system,[3] including Bonagal.[1]
Behind the scenes
Bonagal was first introduced into Star Wars canon in the 2009 reference book, The Essential Atlas, written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.
