The boiler room was a section of the Ashiga Clan Stronghold which was connected to the Kijimiko Caverns.[2]

History

In 3 ABY,[3] Kay Vess made her way through the Kijimiko Caverns as part of a coup attempt by Crimson Dawn and Krisk Ashiga in order to replace Queen Ashiga, ruler of the Ashiga Clan. Vess's task was to sneak in and deactivate the monastery's outer defenses, which the Clan was using as their stronghold. After making her way through the caverns, Vess used an explosive charge to blow a hole in the cavern's wall giving her access to monastery's boiler room. From there she proceeded through the boiler room, sliced into it, and took down the defenses.[2]

In 35 ABY, the cryochamber was destroyed along with the planet during the Destruction of Kijimi by the Sith Eternal with the Xyston-class Star Destroyer Derriphan of the Final Order fleet.[1]

Behind the scenes

The boiler room first appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It is only accessible during the "Hive" main quest.[2]
