Blue Squadron was a squadron of X-wing starfighters serving the New Republic.
History
In 8 ABY,[1] Force-sensitive Garosian rebel Alexandra Winger experienced a recurring dream of flying an X-wing starfighter with Blue Squadron as Blue Four, under the command of a pilot identified as Blue Leader.[2]
By 12 ABY,[1] Winger had joined the starfighter squadron under the call sign Blue Three with Blue Four Chaz Hunter as her wingmate. Blue Squadron participated in a patrol for Imperial starships following information from New Republic Intelligence, during which Winger was ambushed and captured by Captain Brandei's Star Destroyer Judicator. Blue Squadron's X-wings would later provide air support for Dair Haslip's rescue of Winger from Imperial custody on Janara III.[3]
