- "Every being is sacred! Why, this single Bonbrak may go on to help repopulate the Blue Peaks of the southern hemisphere, which haven't had a stable Bonbrak population in more than a century, thanks to illicit trade and fiends like Crufeela!"
- ―Deemus Abrus, to Ram Jomaram
The Blue Peaks were a location in the southern hemisphere of the Core Worlds planet Corellia. It was was populated by members of the sentient Bonbrak species. Over a century before[1] 230 BBY,[2] the area had a stable population of Bonbrak, but it began to decline as a result of illegal trading and them being eating by individuals such as the Shani singer Crufeela.[1]
In 230 BBY,[2] after saving the Bonbrak Teetak from being eaten by Crufeela, Chief Inspector Deemus Abrus of the Coronet City Chapter of the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts considered that Teetak might be able to help repopulate the Blue Peaks. Teetak, however, decided that she wanted to accompany the Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram and Abrus brought Teetak to Jomaram before he left the planet after battling the Nihil pirates.[1]
