Blik's mother

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

During the Republic Era,^[3] a female^[2] Duros^[1] was the mother of the youngling Blik and the partner of another of its parents.^[2]

Between c. 62 BBY and 33 BBY,^[3] the woman was present on the planet of Duro alongside their partner and their child. As the trio strolled the streets, Blik wandered away from^[1] its^[2] parents and attempted to chat up the Duros younglings Colby and Niro as they caused trouble on the sidewalk. Blik's parents caught up with it before any conversation could unfold, with its mother telling it to get away from the "street rats" as they approached their child. The woman also reminded their offspring that that they and their partner had instructed it not to hand around with such individuals. As the individual and their partner led their child away, Blik looked back at its peers, and its mother—also turning back—rushed it up with a pat on its shoulder.^[1]

A blue-skinned female Duros with red eyes and a stocky build, the mother wore close-fitting, earth-toned garments with a belted waist. They had objections to their son hanging around with street children.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Blik's mother first appeared in the "The Good Life," an episode of the animated miniseries Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld,^[1] which was released on May 4, 2025.^[4] The character was voiced by Vanessa Marshall, and was only identified as "Mother" in the credits.^[1]
