Bladderworms were a type of parasitic worm that could infest the bladder of happabores, a domesticated species found on planets across the Western Reaches. Infestations of the parasite in happabores could be treated with Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer, a product produced by Galacti-Stok that contained Trestibinexocycline 5-Gamma, thlank oil, greel-root acid and forage products. Use of the dewormer on bladderworms was suggested in the instructions for the slurry formulation of the product. While living on the desert planet Jakku, the scavenger Rey found a copy of these instructions and included them alongside information about happabores on Jakku in a survival guide that[1] she[2] compiled[1] by 34 ABY.[3]
Behind the scenes
Bladderworms were mentioned in Rey's Survival Guide, a 2015 replica journal written by Jason Fry.[1]
