The Black Sun smash-processing lab was operated by Black Sun in the mountains of Dantooine. A formula was developed there which made the drug smash more potent and more addictive to a wider array of species. Built into the mountain itself, the facility was crewed by scientists and included a significant amount of armed guards of many different species for the sake of security. Several transport ships were kept at the facility. At some point after the Escape from Cloud City, Chanath Cha and the Orphans attacked the facility, leaving it burned to ash. After the attack, footage of the facility in flames made its way onto the Shadowfeeds.[2]
