A bird of paradise was a type of flower.[1] While undergoing a spiritual trial, the Jedi Padawan Nakime saw a bird of paradise in a vision, and when she reached out to it, it turned into her lightsaber.[2] The flower shared its name with the Bird of Paradise,[3] a type of reptavian.[4]
