The Biravia system was a star system located within the Venaarian sector, a part of the Mid Rim[1] and the Trans-Hydian regions.[2] The system was the origin point of the group known as Biravians.[3][4]

Behind the scenes

The Biravia system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed the system in grid square O-7.[2]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Biravians in relation to the Biravia system.
