The biosphere zone was a section of the Starlight Beacon space station which contained recreations of the natural environments of various worlds of the Outer Rim Territories. As a way to showcase the Outer Rim's diversity of worlds, the biospheres were intended to be periodically rotated. When Jedi Master Loden Greatstorm and his Padawan Bell Zettifar visited the Beacon during a conclave, available biospheres included the jungle of Dantooine and an ice flat from Mygeeto. Upon returning to the Elphrona Outpost, the two told Indeera Stokes and Porter Engle about the biosphere zone.[2]
