The Bimmiel asteroid field was an asteroid belt in the Bimmiel system in the Outer Rim Territories. During the Galactic War, the Republic Navy attempted to establish a minefield there to disrupt the Sith Empire's activity in the Kanz sector, but were stopped by Imperial forces.[5]
