Billy Ray Chubbs is an American motion capture performer and actor. He began working as a security guard at Industrial Light & Magic[1] in 2003[2] before eventually becoming the receptionist at Lucasfilm's San Francisco campus.[3] By 2007,[4] he was invited by ILM to serve as a stand-in motion capture performer, filling in gaps needed to complete action sequences.[5] During his tenure, he has performed various roles for Star Wars projects, including a small voice role in Star Wars Forces of Destiny[6] and as an extra in Padmé Amidala's funeral sequence in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.[5]
