- "Other pirates at large include "Silver-fin Bollas", the "Dread Triplets", and the notorious "Big Muhh". Clearly the satraps have been negligent in their duty to keep the Akiva system free from brigandry and safe for Imperial commerce."
- ―An Imperial report on piracy in the Akiva system
Big Muhh was a pirate who operated on the Outer Rim Territories planet Akiva during the Imperial Era. The pirate was included in an Imperial report of piracy on Akiva that had been stored at Imperial Research Station 57 on Akiva[1] by 3 ABY.[2] In the report, they were listed as being notorious and still at large along with fellow pirates Silver-fin Bollas and the Dread Triplets. The report blamed the local satrapy government for failing to prevent privacy in the Akiva system.[1] Around 3 ABY,[2] the human thief Kay Vess accessed the report at Research Station 57 while looking for information about the whereabouts of a different pirate named Qorvino.[1]
Behind the scenes
Big Muhh was mentioned on a data entry in the "A Pirate's Fortune" story expansion of the video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft[1] on May 15, 2025.[3] The data entry that mentions Big Muhh is a required step of the expansions first main quest, "A Pirate's Plight." Starting the story expansion quest requires players to have completed the game's base story. As such, this article assumes completion of the base game story and completion of "A Pirate's Plight," the first quest of the story expansion.[1]

Visit a Galaxy Far, Far Away with our Star Wars liveblog direct from San Diego Comic-Con 2024! on Popverse: "We're beginning our journey three years after the Battle of Yavin" (backup link archived on January 22, 2025) dates the events of Star Wars Outlaws to 3 ABY. Per narrative director Navid Khavari's comments, the game's "A Pirate's Fortune" DLC chronologically occurs immediately after the end of Outlaws's main events, meaning the DLC must have taken place around that year.
