The Bes system was a star system in the Airam sector, located in the Outer Rim region of the galaxy.[1] Two battles occurred in the system during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and Rebel Alliance.[2]

History

The Bes system was star system in the Airam sector, in the Outer Rim Territories at galactic coordinates M-20.[1] Shortly before the Battle of Nocto in the Galactic Civil War, a resupply operation of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Rage in this system came under attack from Rebel Alliance forces during the First Battle of Bes and shortly afterward a combined Rebel/Airam force tried to destroy the Rage without success in the Second Battle of Bes.[2]
