Bergruutfa

Bergruutfa, also shortened to "'gruutfa," were large docile pachyderms.

Biology and appearance

Bergruutfa had tusked mouths that produce a large amount of drool that required cleaning. The animals were very skittish and easily startled by the small scuttling lizards. There was a market for their dung.^[1]

History

Okut Dand was hired to haul a consignment of bergruutfa to the Marat system. Yana Ro and Werth Plouth joined the ship's crew in exchange for passage to Dalna.^[1]
