The Benwabula system was located in the Shadola sector in the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It was the origin point of the item known as the Benwabulan gong.[3][4]
Behind the scenes
The Benwabula system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square U-7.[2]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Benwabulan gong in relation to the Benwabula system.
