The Bento Experience was a the second course of dinner at An Evening with Gaya in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room on the MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser Halcyon. The course consisted of three spiral dumplings and four sauces, as well as a Flora Noodle Salad. Among the three colorful dumplings, one contained sweet-and-sour tip-yip, one had bantha beef, and the third was vegetable-filled. The dumplings were paired with four interplanetary dipping sauces: Kaadu Cream, Melahnese curry, Batuu Spice, and a Barbecue-style sauce.[1] It was served in 34 ABY,[2] and was safe for humans to consume.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Bento Experience was available in the real world at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel in Walt Disney World Resort, Florida,[1] which opened to the public on March 1, 2022.[3] It was last served at the hotel during the September 28–30 voyage of 2023, the final voyage before the closure of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.[4]
