The Belsallian Sea was a body of water located on the planet Serenno in the Serenno system[1] of the Outer Rim Territories.[3] The planetary capital during the reign of the Galactic Empire, Carannia, was located upon its shore.[1]
The Belsallian Sea contained Otoh Dooku and the Demurra Trench.[2]
Belsallian seafarers used the saying “There’s always a bigger fish.”[4]
Behind the scenes
The Belsallian sea was first mentioned and shown in the comic Star Wars: Agent of the Empire during the Hard Targets arc's Agent of the Empire – Hard Targets 1, written by John Ostrander and illustrated by Davide Fabbri, which was published in 2012. The edge of the sea was pictured briefly during a fight between the series protagonist Jahan Cross and bounty hunter Boba Fett taking place in Carannia.[1]
