Bell's Cantina was a cantina[2] built by 10 BBY.[1] It was located on the Gus Treta Inner-System Market Station, a space station that orbited Gus Treta, a moon of the planet Corellia in the Core Worlds' Corellian system. Known for having the cheapest spiced ale in the system, it was often frequented by spacers.[2]

Liddy Ravora was a waitress at Bell's Cantina but left to become an amateur infochant after realizing the value of information. After making a large amount of money as an infochant, Ravora decided to return and buy the establishment[2] in 10 BBY.[1] The cantina was still operational over a decade later.[2]

Behind the scenes

Bell's Cantina was mentioned in Suns of Fortune, a sourcebook for the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire roleplaying game, released in 2014 by Fantasy Flight Games.[2]

Notes and references

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 The New Essential Guide to Characters establishes that Wedge Antilles was 17 years old when the Gus Treta Inner-System Market Station was partially destroyed. Since Antilles was born in 21 BBY, according to StarWarsDotComBlogsLogoStacked Major Character Birth Years on Keeper of the HolocronLeland Chee's StarWars.com Blog (original site is defunct), the destruction must have taken place in 4 BBY. Suns of Fortune further states that the destruction of the space station occurred four years prior to the book's setting, which can therefore be placed in 0 BBY. As the book states that Liddy Ravora purchased the cantina a decade earlier, the establishment must have been built before 10 BBY.
