A human female was the mother of Beilert Valance. They lived with Valance and his father on[1] the planet[2] Chorin where Valance's parents worked as miners. At one point, Valance's mother fixed his toy Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighter after it broke, though Valance's father told them not to as it would only fill his head with dreams when he was destined to work as a miner. Valance's mother then told the boy's father to stop being a blurrg in the mud and that their son would have a childhood.[1]
Behind the scenes
Beilert Valance's mother first appeared, in flashbacks, in the thirty-fourth issue of the 2020 comic series Star Wars: Bounty Hunters. The issue was written by Ethan Sacks, illustrated by Paolo Villanelli, and published by Marvel Comics[1] on May 17, 2022. Prior to the release of the comic, the character was revealed in a preview article of the issue that was published on StarWars.com on May 9 of the same year.[3]
