Befa was a human male who served as a commander in the Military of the Galactic Empire. Following the Empire's loss of the Death Star at Yavin 4, Befa was sent to Jedha to harvest the remaining kyber crystals on the moon. He failed to harvest enough crystals, and was killed by Commander Kanchar for his failure.^[1]
