Beard suppressants were substances that prevented the growth of beards. Thane Kyrell was known to have used such substances as an Imperial cadet as well as during his service. Upon deserting the Empire on the planet Kerev Doi, Kyrell ran out of beard suppressant and, unwilling to spend credits to purchase more, began to grow stubble.[1]
