Devastator, an Imperial-class Star Destroyer described as a battlewagon

"Next thing, three battlewagons start spitting out ident codes they'd never heard before."
―"Down And Out On Coruscant"[1]
"Princess Leia, we are falling into a stinger's nest. There are three imperial battlewagons in close orbit around the planet."
Raymus Antilles [2]

A battlewagon, battle-wagon or battle wagon designated a capital ship or other large warship.

Kruk battle-wagons dated to the time of the Clone Wars and were still being used decades later in the Blockade of Sif'kric.[3] In the era of the Galactic Civil War, the term battlewagon could be used for very old, hulking ships such as the millennia-old warships of Xim the Despot[4] and the Cal Ambre,[5] as well as the decommissioned warship Wennis.[6] Battlewagons could also include large Imperial starships,[1] including Victory-[7] and Imperial-class Star Destroyers.[2] Bevel Lemelisk used the term to denote the Empire's World Devastators.[8] The Black Hole-class Salvage Dreadnought was also known as an Ugor Battle-Wagon.[9]
