"Battle stimulants? You might have said you had them!"
―Storm Tasia[1]

Battle stimulants were a type of stimulant that enhanced a user's combat abilities and reduced pain for a short time. Taking multiple battle stimulants in short succession could greatly enhance one's physical prowess at the cost of causing one's memories of events to blur.[1]

During the Battle of Galov[1] in 231 BBY,[2] forces of the Republic Defense Coalition boarded the Nihil cruiser Lourna Dee and engaged the marauders aboard. Nihil Strike Andrik Keller gave a battle stimulant to his commanding Storm Tasia after she sustained an injury, and then took one himself. Upon meeting Jedi Masters Sskeer and Avar Kriss aboard the cruiser, Keller took a second battle stimulant and aggressively engaged the Jedi while trying to steal their Jedi shuttle. Tasia called Keller an "idiot" for his bravado.[1]

Behind the scenes

Battle stimulants first appeared in Star Wars canon in a flashback in the 2021 audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner, written by Cavan Scott and performed by a full voice cast.[1]

In the Star Wars Legends continuity, battle stimulants first appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic by BioWare.[3]
