During the Clone Wars of 22 BBY to 19 BBY,[2] a battle took place on Metalorn involving the Galactic Republic. Due to a leak in the office of Senator Tanner Cadaman, a member of the Galactic Senate's Intelligence and Armed Services Committee, details on Republic troop movements regarding Metalorn made it back to the Confederacy of Independent Systems. As a result, the Republic took losses at the battle, with the clone trooper being the sole survivor of his squad when their transport went down. A Jedi general there called a medical evacuation for Ponder, who was shuttled to an orbital clinic.[1]
