Baroness

Baroness was a title of nobility. Baroness Sanya Tagge of Tepasi headed the House of Tagge during the Separatist Crisis and the beginning of the Clone Wars, being succeeded by her son Orman Tagge as Baron.^[1]

Baroness Chay Cortess of Alderaan was among that planet's leading nobles during the Great Galactic War.^[2] At different points of her career operating under aliases, Mara Jade claimed to be Baroness Muehling of Kuat^[3] and Baroness Paltonae.^[4] Other baronesses included Baroness Omnino of Vena,^[5] Baroness Kirma Umber,^[6] Baroness Mellona Gantrolo, and Baroness Balmai Wyngarde.^[7]
