History

During the Galactic Civil War, a Rebel Alliance team under the command of Charls Ginsbrack used it as a base for their development of new hyperdrive technology, presumably to help with the Alliance's war effort. They abandoned the moon after they were forced to shut down the project, because the new hyperdrives created hyperdimensional whirlpools that killed a number of members of the scientific team.
