A monastery of the Baran Do, an order of Force sages comprised of members of the Kel Dor species, was used by a secret cult within the Baran Do that worshipped the Sith Lord Darth Sion[2] by 3643 BBY.[1] In the temple, which by that time was ancient, the Sith cult placed offerings to the long-deceased Sith Lord.[2]
Around that year, an individual associated with one of the two opposing governments in the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire sent a companion of theirs to seek information on the cult after uncovering evidence of its existence. The companion discovered the monastery and retrieved the offerings the cultists had left there for Darth Sion.[2]
Behind the scenes
The monastery was mentioned in the Crew Skill mission "Corruption of the Baran Do" in the 2011 BioWare video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, though the information regarding the mission's outcome was later removed from the video game.[2]

Notes and references
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 Per the reasoning here, Act I of Star Wars: The Old Republic takes place around 3643 BBY. Since players of The Old Republic can assign their companions on the mission "Crime Doesn't Pay" independently of the main class storyline at any point during the game, the mission must take place at some point around 3643 BBY.
