The Bank of the Core was a major banking company which existed in the galaxy. The Galactic Republic's treasury had worked long in conjunction with the Bank of the Core and the InterGalactic Banking Clan to ensure currency stability.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Bank of the Core was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations.[2] The Bank of the Core was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends in Han Solo and the Corporate Sector Sourcebook, a 1993 roleplaying guide published by West End Games.[3]
