Bandanas were articles of clothing worn around the neck that could be used as flag of truce. They can also be worn around the head to keep body heat or to stay cool. It could also be worn to communicate secretly. They are not considered a hat.[2]
The Mirialan smuggler Gorv Mespit wore a bandana while on Coruscant.[3]
