Biography

"Bossk let me know that you were on your way. I have the information you'll need for each of the bounties. I'll upload it to your journal. Now, get to work. When you finish with these bounties, I can finally get off of this forsaken planet."

After the Battle of Yavin, Balfur Jhcor was associated with Bossk, a fellow Trandoshan bounty hunter.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] Balfur and Bossk identified three notable bounties on the planet Lok: Joti Laike, Sardeya Elgrin and Oono Mor'in. Balfur tracked them and localized them while Bossk was stuck on Corellia,[1] tracking the Bofa Treat Gang.[3] Bossk encountered a skilled spacer on Corellia who accepted to help Balfur collect the bounties. The spacer traveled to Lok and met Balfur Jhcor near Nym's Stronghold. The spacer then tracked the three bounties and successfully eliminated all of them. In the meantime, Bossk convinced Balfur to murder the spacer in order not to share the bounties. When the spacer returned to Balfur, the bounty hunter attacked the adventurer but the latter managed to defeat the Trandoshan. Balfur apologized for letting Bossk manipulated him and decided to resign for being a bounty hunter. The Trandoshan also gave all his wapons to the spacer.[1]

  2. The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
