The Baldavia system was located in the Interior Region, an area of the Hapes Cluster in the Slice portion of the Inner Rim. It was connected via hyperlanes to the Gallinore and Theselon systems.[1] The Baldavia system was home to[3] the creature known as the Baldavian pocket hare[2] and was the origin point of the group known as Baldavian lip-readers.[4]

Behind the scenes

The Baldavia system was introduced in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square O-9.[1]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Baldavian lip-readers and the Baldavian pocket hare in relation to the Baldavia system.
