Bakur Repulsor Corporation was a manufacturing company that produced repulsorlift engines. The company's products did not produce the shimmer produced by some short-range repulsorlifts between a vehicle using the engine and the planetary surface it was pushing against.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Bakur Repulsor Corporation was mentioned in the article "Repulsorlifts," which was published in the "Secrets of Spaceflight" department of the thirty-eighth issue of De Agostini's Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine[1] around September 23, 2015.[2] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Bakur RepulsorCorp first appeared in the 1993 novel The Truce at Bakura, which was written by Kathy Tyers.[3]
