The Backways was a building on Vaklin in the city of Vaklin Zenith. It was scorched and destroyed when Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi fought infiltrators there during the Clone Wars. It was cleaned and rebuilt by the Empire during the Vaklin insurgency, in 19 BBY, in order to erase all memory of the Jedi legacy.
