The BU-series bartender droid was a variant of Industrial Automaton's 2-1B surgical droid that was designed specifically for use as a bartender droid. BU-11 was one such unit.

Another unit worked as a bartender at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina on the planet of Tatooine during the Clone Wars.
