BDM spydroids were surveillance droids employed by the Star Tours travel agency. They were used to make sure the agency's repair droids were doing their jobs.[1]

Behind the scenes

The only reference to BDM droids can be found in an article in an 1987 issue of Starlog magazine detailing the original Star Tours attraction. The article was written by Walt Disney Imagineering employees, but it is unknown if the droids actually appeared in the maintenance areas of the ride's queue.[1]
