An apparently modified B69 Elektra, owned by Simon Greyshade

The B69 Elektra airspeeder was an airspeeder model found in 23 BBY.[1][2]

A customized version,[1] owned by Senator Simon Greyshade, shared many design similarities to the XJ-6 airspeeder, including the engines located in the front of the craft.[2]

Behind the scenes

The cover of Republic 47, collected in Star Wars Republic: Honor and Duty, shows the B69 Elektra airspeeder. The aircraft features a paint scheme uncharacteristic to Senator Greyshade's standard[3] and bears a strong resemblance to an airspeeder borrowed by Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones. The B69 changes appearances in the actual comic, where it is shown as a more boxy craft; however, in a retelling featured in the StarWars.com article Viva Space Vegas! The History of the Marvelous Wheel, the speeder shown is the similar-looking model featured on the cover of Republic 47.[1]
