A B5C starts up, idles, drives, and then retracts and extends its outriggers
The B5C was a model of speeder bike developed by K-NorCo,[1] which also produced the B5B speeder bike.[2] The B5C had a single brown pilot's seat at the back of its short pod-shaped chassis with steering grips in front of it. The front of the chassis had a small light mounted above two pairs of black outriggers, one sitting above the other and extending slightly further from the front of the vehicle.[1]
The vanes could retract inside the chassis separately, leaving only the steering vanes at the end exposed. The B5C's chassis and vanes were colored magenta and dark turquoise, with white detailing. The model was available during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and reconstituted Sith Empire.[1]
Behind the scenes
The B5C first appeared during the 2022 Legacy of the Sith expansion for BioWare's 2011 massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic[1] where it was made available to both Republic and Empire players as part of the "Join The Fight Bundle," released through the game's online store on September 23, 2023.[3]
