The B22 was a mechanically-activated blaster pistol produced by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. and used during the Galactic Civil War. During the Siege of Inyusu Tor[1] in 3 ABY,[2] the Imperial Captain Tabor Seitaron owned one of these pistols as a sidearm and used it in an attempt to break up a fight between Prelate Verge and the Imperial-turned–rebel asset, Everi Chalis aboard[1] the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer[3] Herald. Although Seitaron intended to shoot Chalis, he accidentally shot and killed Verge instead.[1]

Behind the scenes

The B22 first appeared in the 2015 novel Battlefront: Twilight Company, written by Alexander Freed.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the B22 Hold-Out Blaster was introduced in West End Games' 1997 roleplaying supplement Gundark's Fantastic Technology: Personal Gear.[4]
