B1 Unit 888 was a B1-series battle droid that served on the planet Akiva, the site of a droid factory and battle during the Clone Wars. 888 was destroyed on Akiva.[2] In 3 ABY,[1] ND-5 was shot by an Imperial, causing his memory to malfunction and to call B1 unit 888 to report on their status upon encountering the droid's remains.[2]

Behind the scenes

B1 Unit 888 appeared in "The Legacy" quest of the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[2]
